Getting Started As a Leader:

There are two courses that are considered essential for all Girl Scout leaders. If you are a new leader, you should complete them at your earliest opportunity, and ideally within your first three (3) months.

  • Introduction to Girl Scouting at River Bluffs

  • Program Level Training

  • Every troop/group must have at least one volunteer trained in Introduction to Girl Scouting at River Bluffs and Program Level. These two courses comprise the Basic Leadership Training. Leadership training courses are to be completed within three months of assuming active leadership. It is recommended that all volunteers that work with girls be trained leaders.

Contact your Service Unit Training Coordinator (Laura Million) for more information or to dertermine your status with any of the training.

See GSRBC Training webpage for current sessions and online registration form.
